How Badly Do You Want It?

Back to Articles

Let’s unpack this one: “How badly do you want it?” It’s such a simple question, but does it ever hit deep when you really think about it. It’s not just about desire—it’s about commitment. It asks, “Are you willing to push past the obstacles, the excuses, and the discomfort to make this happen?”

Wanting something isn’t enough. Everyone "wants" success, happiness, health, or whatever their dream might be. But the real question is, what are you willing to do for it? What are you willing to give up for it? Will you wake up an hour earlier to work on it? Will you keep going even when progress feels slow? Will you stay disciplined when distractions and doubts creep in?

It’s not about hustle culture or pushing yourself to exhaustion—it’s about clarity. When you want something badly enough, you prioritize it. You make choices that align with it. You don’t just wish for it; you work for it. And that’s the difference between a dream that stays a dream and one that becomes reality.

So, next time you’re chasing something, ask yourself: How badly do I want it? If the answer is “more than I've ever wanted anything,” then you’ve already got the fire—you just need to keep fuelling it.

If you want something you've never had, do something you've never done!!!!
